My buddy let me down again today as we were gonna do quite a tough hike, with him not coming I decided that I would just go to one of Maisy's favourite spots instead !!!

With a low lying mist and an Autumn feel it seemed kinda spooky today !!!






I had to look twice at this track, a dog had stepped right onto the back of a Deer track !

As we wandered a little further we came across yet more signs of Deer in the area....


We soon came across the culprits....




There was also lots of watered down Otter scat in the area but I could find no tracks, these things must walk like ninja's !!!

I'd better put one of her on before somebody asks !!!

You absolutely stink! I just got back from deer hunting and I came up empty handed. It's bow season here in Florida which means that Doe is fair game.

impressive pitman, I love stalking deer. I'm not a hunter myself, but I find that nature photography involves all the same skills and patience. The only difference is that you push a button rather than pull a trigger. That looked like a great hike though. Does you dog not rush off after deer? mine would have given me away in a second

I can't believe your buddy bailed on you again for such a beautiful place. The seasons change fast..

I for one can't wait for fall to come. Its my favorite season by far... the smells especially, but also the cool weather. I'm happiest in long pants and a jacket. There's a Japanese haiku about fall that i particularly like, by Onitsura
