hi all i need help finding the right busse,swamp rat,scrap yard,knife for me 1st thing i only have 350.00$ around chistmass time it need to able to chop,split,cut 2in rope, and outher camp task it has to hold a edge for a long time aroung 7in to 8in blade and it cant rust

Yeah the SARSquatch sounds good, though the Natural Outlaw, the Steel Heart, and the ASH-1 would all be about right. If you don't mind me asking, what are you up to with that 2" rope? Just curious, you might be a sailor or something

I think a skinny ASH-1 matches your requirements (if it doesn't bother you it's (only) 4 millimeters thick blade). It's available at bussecompanystore for 302$ (which matches your budget). I've just tested my Skinny ASH yesterday and the day before and it works beautiful. I will also intend to post a review with pictures and videos from my tests against it in a few days.

i vote for a camp tramp...you'll get one for less than your budget if you keep your eyes open on blade forum...they go quick though!
