How much metal do you have to remove to buff out the logo/serial number stamp? Curious...

probably not too much.

last weekend i used sand paper to take the "muddy" finish off my GW and the busse logo pretty much diapered during the process.

with some determination,time,patience and abrasives anything can be done.

i'm sure someone here has more experience with the subject than me and will chime in tomorrow.its just past their bed time right now....lol

Did the logo stamp leave an depressed imprint on the blade?

yeah,not really.it doesnt seem to be imprinted too far into the steel.

dont forget to sterilize your clothing as well by removing the tags from all your clothing and do not wash them or yourself in with any western detergents or soaps....lol
