[censored] Snotpig, did you make it small enough? LOL! A carry conceal axe. who woulda thunk it! You'll have to post us some pics at how effective it is as a chopper, I'm seriously intrigued!

If you don't sharpen your axe from time to time, you will soon be chopping with a hammer. JYD #81

gransfors bruks. the best hatchets out there. the mini is on the left end in n1's pic.

another popular model is the wildlife hatchet.

I've handled both the GB mini and wildlife hatchet and I really like them. One of these days I'll snag one up, but they aren't a priority for me since a nice DF or FBM would do the job.

Between my Crash Axe and this Estwing, I'm covered for nice axes for now.

ya know, i was just using my trail hawk and thought that even though it cuts deeper than any of my knives, the big 10" knives don't need crosshairs to aim the blow. also a better tool for wider logs with all that edge. on thinner stuff, you're less likely to miss.

with practice, however, the hawk may be the winner.

I'm giving that thing a 10 out of 10 on the coolness factor scale snotpig. Good job!

Mine is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET! The snotpig delivers! I have the longer version and I used it to chop ears of corn last night before I froze them, (about 200 ears)and it worked very well! I will get some picks up when I get back.....
