safetyman - you're not alone. It took many of us a loooong time before we spent the money for Infi! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> This knife addiction gets you in the long run!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> However, it will make you smile and feel a certain "warm inner glow" as you handle your blades, knowing that you have some of the best made!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I would go with the fatty, just for the novelty sake, you are not going to break it either way imho

Look at my "Tip Lateral Strength" test here: http://www.knifetest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=455&page=5
Not te best news regarding the lateral strength (I tested only the tip). This is one of the situations where the fat ASH would be the good choice.

I like the SJTAC a lot more than the Skinny ASH, but I don't think that's a very common opinion. The Skinny is definitely respectable though. I got mine when the ASH-1's were still up. I can't think of anything I'd need .32 for, especially in such a short blade.
