Aloha guys and gals! Just thought I'd drop in and say "hi." I have been lurking the forum for a short while but have also been a customer of Swamp Rat. I ordered the SOD (black) a few days ago, thanks in part to Noss and his review of the Scrapper 6. Very impressive. I have been looking for a knife around the size of the SOD such as the R.A.T. RC-6, Cold Steel Recon Scout, Fallkniven A1, etc. but settled on the SOD due to the combination of price, warranty, type of steel, and what the Scrap Yard company mission is. I guess, like other SOD customers, I'll be looking for a sheath for the blade like other customers (as also mentioned and spoken about by others in a different thread). I'm looking forward to getting it and giving it a good work out.

Welcome! So where do you live in Hawaii? I've been there a couple times when I was kid and after the beach, I was waiting for the van to pick me up, little did I know I was standing on small ant hole. When I got in the van, my leg looked like tree trunks.

I wouldn't say that.... I'm pretty sure he's got a bit of a backlog going on. He'll still take your order, it'll just be in line.

It's definitely worth the wait! you'll love it. I'm really happy about the last few releases at .25". I like that weight a lot more than the heavier ones.
