Hi everybody. This morning is cold, and I need small wood's pieces to start fire on my stove. So, let's go to try if my Millie may meet this goal.
Well, at the beginning I'm not so sure about the liner-lock and the tip: they will resist?
After any batoning, no problem: I may continue, I'm not afraid. Well, still few minutes: mission accomplished!
The Millie perform this job really well; it's just 105 grams (handle in carbon fiber), but work like as heavy wheight. Also, not any problem with the liner-lock. Not bad!
Ciao, Michelangel

Looks to be one big folder ? Good job but I would think a DF would be much better ? I didn't know a folder was a chopper ? Looks like I am learning something new every day here on the yard-Thanks

Yes, for sure is a big folder (not heavy). And yes, for sure a DF could perform the job much, much better: but it's is clear.
My proposal was to test if the Millie was able to do it: the answwer is yes, seems to be able.

I love my s90v millie, its my edc.

I treat it rough but I wouldn't baton with it, atleast I know I can now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

It's nice to know the Millie will take it, but I wouldn't baton with any folder unless I had no other choice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> But I always carry at least a small fixed blade too, that I'd use for stuff like that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'm glad to know did well though, Great pics too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
