I have a Chopweiler too. I would say that I prefer the Old Style Ratweiler design, and the feeling of the Chopweiler when I chop wood.

The best compromise (for me) would be an Old Style Ratweiler's blade with a Chopweiler's handle.

What's your opinion?

I have'nt gone for a large Swamp Rat knife yet but that Old Style Ratweiler....I agree with Rainwalker...it is the prettiest I have seen.

Without a doubt the old style Ratweilers are the sexiest looking in their class! They just look mean!

I have never been into Swamp Rat knives,nothing personal just out of my price range and for the money I really like the way SR-77 performs better. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I used to think that Swamprat were expensive when i first started buying them,then i bought some INFI,now money is irrelevant <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> When you have had INFI and then sell some you realise you can buy three times as many Swamprats or 6 times as many Scrapyards,you start to feel better about knife buying quickly. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
At the moment i am looking at the Scraps in a whole new light,just got a Scrapper 4,freakin awesome! wish i could find 3 or 4 more,also got a couple of SOD's coming which i am really excited about.Only got my INFI safe queens left now,now i have some spending money to add volume to my collection with Dogs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
