I was definitely looking at the new ones. It is made in Taiwan with an AUS-8 blade steel. I liked it though. I will keep an eye out for those old ones!

i just bought my first folder a benchmade wilkinsgrip its in 154cm...i got it on BF should be here soon....axis lock sounds sick! ill have pics up when it comes in.

That's the full size Spyderco Manix. They're discontinued now. You can find them on the secondary market between 125$ and 160$, or you can wait for the new version which will be bigger and feature a lock like the top model.

I find its too "thin" of a handle for me.

It does seem to be pretty well made,
and was extremely sharp out of the box.
