As some of you may know, I have had an ongoing battle with skin cancer. Please, don't let your chidren go out into the bright sun without UV protection. Forget all that nonsense about a golden tan being healthy. If nature had wanted caucasians to be golden, we would be born that way! Later in life that sun damage catches up with you and causes skin cancer. Today I got the biopsy results from the latest carving done on my back. I am good to go. No cancer detected. Thanks, dogs. I have this renewed energy today. I'm headed out to do my walk and some excercise. Funny how good news can have an actual physiological effect.
I can face the holiday season with more tolerance and a lot of gratitude.With two of my girls having birthdays in December and with Christmas and all, it gets downright overwhelming at times. Don't have a wife to help out with this stuff, and my girlfriends have their own stuff to do. For reasons unknown to me, God still loves me and gives me what I need.
