Yesterday I swung buy the pawn shop to see what they had. Not much in the way of guns the shelves were kind of empty. In the case was a rather nice looking Stainless Steel .44 Magnum Ruger Redhawk 7.5" barrel. It's used but in great condition. Well as I was leaving I'll be danged if it didn't just jump out of the case and follow me home . Just got back from the property and it shoots really nice

That sounds really cool.
Too many restrictions up here in Canada regarding handguns.
Way too much control.

Hope you enjoy your new toy.

Congrats Mike - it's a terrific pistol! I am really happy with my S/S Redhawk with a 5 1/2" barrel!

I picked this up to replace a single action .44 that is pretty much wore out.
Been shooting .44 mags for a long time and really like them.

Great pic Mike...you and P/K have a really good one there...if I ever get myself over to the US I would like something similar. A great all rounder!

Oh that is righteous, Bors. I had a blued one in the 80s. No matter how far I adjusted the sight windage, it would not center. The Redhawk is a beefy frame and can handle the hottest loads. I liked mine, but just couldn't hit with it so I got a S&W 29 that shot well. I don't think that is typical of Ruger Redhawks because my buddy's Super Redhawk was a tack driver. That looks like a nice one. I hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
