Well I recently sold my DFLE to fund another purchase, it was painful but I had to do it besides I really want a CG version, the DFLE is great but for some reason I want the saber ground version. Anyway now with my 2 SODs on their way to me that gives me 3 Scrapyards, my YKCG and my 2 SODS, I really do want a CG version of the Dogfather. I think it would be neat if Dan released them in the colors they were at Blade, the Tank Gray and Tan versions of them. If those aren't the next releases I will need to troll the exhange to find one but with the new business plan, and all the new members here it makes sense that we will see them again at some point. I am just hoping out loud <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

The reason you want a DFCG is because, as of this time, it is the undisputed, undefeated, superior price to performance ratio, heavyweight champion of Scrap Yard Knives. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> well yeah, that and I love big knives. When I got the DFLE it was way to pretty to abuse so it sat in my safe for a long time. Regardless the SODs in my opinion scored high marks on the "cool factor scale" hopefully the next release will too.

Hey Bullets- Tell you a funny story. I am new here as you know and a COMPLETE idiot about SY- but am learning. On the exchange awhile back I see a DMCG and a DFCG for a decent price so I make an offer and end up with these. I get ahold of Jeff cause I am thrilled and need pants. Jeff takes a peek at them and asks me if i want the pants in " gray " . I say " sure" but why ? I hadn't a clue I bought BOTH in tank that a guy ( Paul- really nice guy) nabbed at Knob. At any rate now I have those two in tank and also a S6-YKCG- and Mud Puppy LE plus SODs coming. I am absolutely thrilled with the Tank- and the special pants Jeff made to match are great. It seems that all these SY-Bussekin folks are super great folks !!
