Well, I thought long and hard about the SOD, but in the end I decided on this. Now I have blades from my 3 favorite manufacturers, SY, Busse & BRK&T. Here it is with my ASH-1:

6.5" of full convex goodness in A2 high carbon tool steel - The BRKT Canadian Camp Knife.

But, no worries fellow dogs, I see some more SY knives in my future! It's still the most bang for your buck

I love the look of the combo. Who or what is the sharpening stick?

Those aren't sharpening rods, they're ferro rods/firesteel. You can use the spine (or edge) of your knife and strike it and it makes sparks.

Gideon,

Very cool looking blades. What's the small blade in the BRKT piggyback?

Cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave. That is a BRKT Mikro Canadian II. A real little scalpel, it is. I wonder if Dan will make us a nice little knife like that? Something in 154CM, perhaps?

Regards,
Gideon
