Got my SOD today, my first Scrapyard knife. Amazing feel, definitely a knife you want when/if you life is on the line. Feels like a steal for the price. I will be very doubtful I will ever miss a knife buy-in on here every again. Almost a a total Busse family convert now. I will only buy Scrap yard, Swamprat, and one day a Busse I hope, with the last hold out being my Bark Rivers (you know for the "little knives").
Appreciate all the good reviews and posts on this forum. No lies here, Scrapyard is legit.

Welcome to the Yard. Like MRpink, I'm waiting for the SOD as well.
I think that you'll love the knife as much as the others on here do.
I love my Scrapyard, Swamp Rat and Busse products as well. They are
very tough knives.

I feel the same way. I read about the Scrap Yard knives, but until my brother got his Yard Hook, I'd never seen one in person. I was impressed. It was his knife that got me to order the SOD, and when mine arrived yesterday, and I actually got to try it out, I have to say, I am 100% sold on Scrap Yard! I was close to ordering a Benchmade Ritter Mini Griptilian, but for $110, I felt like it was a ripoff compared to Scrap Yard knives.

The BRMG looks OK- it just is missing so much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> that the SOD just beats up on it.It is a cute little folder though. I looked at it also- but soon came back to the SY. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
