I caved, it's all this time off work with the holidays and all. Been contemplating a Makora II and with the help of a few Guinness was able to reason myself into a SOD:

Mocassin Ranger, great design, just doesn't hold an edge. I really expected the SOD to be the same size as the MR, it's a "bit" bigger - nice.

It probably doesn't really weigh any more either. Res-c is awesome
