Unlike some manufacturers, Dan doesn't give us a tentative production schedule. He likes to surprise us. But he does pay attention to the customers and read the forum. When a lot of posters mentioned a how great a 3/16" thick YK would be, he came out with one. When many of us asked for a 7.5" chopper, he came out with the SOD in three flavors. I would guess maybe four or five new models for 2009, but who knows? Maybe some of those will be releases of previous models, like the DF. Many of us are hoping for a really big chopper like a Kukri or maybe a bolo. Others are wanting some neck knives. We will see.

Just what we need, Dan. Can you give us a hint?

The SOD really wet my appetite and the credit card is fully charged...BRING IT ON .

I say four new releases and a couple of rereleases. I am also going to go out on a limb and say that we see a Scrapper released in another "new to the Yard" steel this year; 0170-6C maybe???

I will be happy with whatever is released as long as there is at least a Bolo/Kuk, or necker thrown out this year. Oh yeah, and I still think the necker should be called the "Dog Bone"...

Don't tease! I missed out on the Scrapper releases, and I'd love to get my hands on one!!!
