I am loving my SOD, does anyone know of a sheath that allows a slight forward can't so that the handle does not stick you in the side when you sit? Does the Tek Loc allow for slight positional changes like this? I am not talking a lot, but maybe the blade forward in a 4:00 or 5:00 oclock position?
thanks AI

I use my Tek-Lok Kydex sheaths sideways so it does not poke my side or thigh. By wearing it horizontal you avoid even knowing that you have it on. Fast cross draw style or strong side either is fine when worn sideways on the belt. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
The Rainwalker can perform this sheath for a very moderate cost and I assure you it will exceed your expectations. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
And by the way... WELCOME!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Peace.

You guys are studs as usual!
I would love to where the beast horizontal....but I wonder with it's length, that it would occupy the entire front of my belt line, and still might bind on my middle when I got in and out of the truck a bunch of times each day. I also landscape which neccesitates me bending, digging, and shoveling lots each day.
I have what I thought was a "dangeler" sheath for a SP8 ontario machete. It is a sheath that drops off of a loop to sit lower along my thigh, and then I tie the bottom of the sheath on my thigh. I don't know how to get a postional change in the form of a cant, but it is very comfortable to carry. Does anyone have a picture, or can point me to a dangler rig?
Thanks AI

I've got some of Jeffs' leather sheaths with the X-loop that allow vertical or horizontal carry on the belt, and love them.
For my SRKW HCLE, and SYK S6 and DMLE, I have the Kydex sheaths, and I can have those as vertical, horizontal, and diagonal carry, and even slip them inside the pants for a slightly angled carry there as well. I don't like them as much as I do my leather sheaths by Jeff (No surprise there, Jeff does amazing work as you all know!), but I will say that they do allow you to be more flexible in how you carry it on your belt.

Thanks for the posts fellas.
Tyger75, The X-loop sounds amazing. Can you comfortably carry the S6 horizontal....are you 8 feet tall, or is the design just that good? Jeff is truely and artist!
