+11111 for Jeff as well.
Go for the dangler if you are interested in not getting a handle in the side
Or set your kydex so that you have a horizontal draw.

Cheers

Yep, would just have to turn the Tek-Lok sideways and voila.
Horizontal draw

Funny you should say that. I was just talking to Jeff about that.
I'm thinking of getting a righty and a leftie made up.
One for the SOD, one for the CT.

Thanks for the posts fellas.

Tyger75, The X-loop sounds amazing. Can you comfortably carry the S6 horizontal....are you 8 feet tall, or is the design just that good?
Jeff is truely and artist!

AI

The leather sheaths I just got done by Jeff were for my MPLE, BDLE, Tan YK, and my Crash Axe. After looking at my previous post, I realize I might've mislead you in thinking I had them for my DMLE, S6, and HCLE... sorry about that.

Regardless, After playing with the X-loop design Jeffs' come up with for my MPLE and YK, I feel secure in saying that an S6 horizontal with this sheath would be possible, and am thinking of getting Jeff to make one for me. I'm not 8' tall, just a mere 6'2" ( ), but yes, the design is very good. I'm currently applying some neatsfoot oil to all the sheaths before putting them into normal use, but as soon as I'm done, I'll post some pics so that you can decide. I'll even post a side by side of the YK and S6 so you can determine for yourself whether the S6 would be suitable in a horizontal carry.

Sound good?

Just a dumb question tyger.
With the S6 in a horizontal carry like that, would you have the sheath built
so that it had a slightly tip down carry?

Thanks

This will make you cry. Mt Mike (Bartol) made this one for my INFIcoot long ago but says he doesn't do canted sheathes any more. I'm glad I caught one when I did.

As you can see, this was before he got his stamp, this one is marked with a ball point pen.

If you're not pissed off you're not paying attention.

Mhawg,

That is sweet
I like the way the snap is fastened, so that it won't get in the way of
the blade. Very cool.
Thanks for sharing that.

Does anyone have a picture, or can point me to a dangler rig?

Here's mine for my Ratweiler:
