Andy, Where did you get that sheath? Does anyone have a picture, or can point me to a dangler rig? Here's mine for my Ratweiler: ![[Linked Image from i6.photobucket.com]](http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y209/andywayne/Knives/Swamp%20Rat/Ratweiler/08-07-08-1.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i6.photobucket.com]](http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y209/andywayne/Knives/Swamp%20Rat/Ratweiler/08-07-08-3.jpg)

Thanks for the posts fellas.
Tyger75, The X-loop sounds amazing. Can you comfortably carry the S6 horizontal....are you 8 feet tall, or is the design just that good? Jeff is truely and artist!
AI The leather sheaths I just got done by Jeff were for my MPLE, BDLE, Tan YK, and my Crash Axe. After looking at my previous post, I realize I might've mislead you in thinking I had them for my DMLE, S6, and HCLE... sorry about that. Regardless, After playing with the X-loop design Jeffs' come up with for my MPLE and YK, I feel secure in saying that an S6 horizontal with this sheath would be possible, and am thinking of getting Jeff to make one for me. I'm not 8' tall, just a mere 6'2" ( ), but yes, the design is very good. I'm currently applying some neatsfoot oil to all the sheaths before putting them into normal use, but as soon as I'm done, I'll post some pics so that you can decide. I'll even post a side by side of the YK and S6 so you can determine for yourself whether the S6 would be suitable in a horizontal carry. Sound good? That sounds awesome! Thanks a bunch, I will look forward to the photos. AI

Great photos guys, thanks so much for shareing....
That Rat with dangler is freeking bad to the bone! What a great combo!
Andy, I am currious when you where that, do you tie her off round your leg on the bottom of the sheath, or just let her go? How does it work for you? Man is that a fine looking setup! AI

To add my two cents worth... a dangler sheath is great for the SOD. A nice pouch with an X-loop would be cool too. I done them for the Chopweiler which is about the same size and it worked out well. Here's a pic. A kydex can be made to fit the bill as well.

Jeff Do you do Kydex with the X-loop? Are they real secure in a horizontal carry position? Can you point me to any other of your designs to look at? I love your website, but can not identify some of the sheaths from the pictures.
Thanks AI

I've never done a kydex x-loop because it's easier to just turn a Tek-Lok or Kydex loop into a new position instead, but I'm sure it could be tried. Send me a PM or email if you want and I'll be glad to help you figure something out. Here's a couple of Drop loop sheaths. Something like this with an x-loop, or a couple of x-loops would be handy. ![[Linked Image from i150.photobucket.com]](http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/rainwalker15/SarQPouch2.jpg)

I have seen a plate that attaches to a Tec-Lok for 360° rotation but it ends up being kinda bulky.

Although I love the leather sheaths, considering you want to have the sheath canted on your belt, perhaps the kydex is a better choce for you. Here are some pics of the kydex sheaths. As the above pic shows, you can adjust the clip piece by attaching it to the sheath through a number of holes, thereby changing it from vertical, horizontal, or canted. Personally, I like to carry the S6 inside of my waist band, like so. Just something I've gotten used to with that particular knife. ![[Linked Image from i321.photobucket.com]](http://i321.photobucket.com/albums/nn382/tyger75/P1110357.jpg) As you can see, the HCLE and DMLE sheaths are both canted, if a little crowded, being on my belt so close together! As you can see from the pic, there is a bit of difference between the S6 and the SOD. If I were going to get the leather X-loop for the SOD, I'd suggest the same as what Jeff has mentioned; get it done with two X-loops on the back, so as to center it on the back of your belt, and avoiding that center belt loop on the back of your jeans.

Andy, Where did you get that sheath? From VoxHog. Looks like Dwayne's work there, Leatherman that is. Yup, that it is. That Rat with dangler is freeking bad to the bone! What a great combo!
Andy, I am currious when you where that, do you tie her off round your leg on the bottom of the sheath, or just let her go? How does it work for you? Man is that a fine looking setup! Nope, I just “let it hang”. I now have the Eze-Lap M diamond sharpener that fits in the side loop. I brought it to the 1500 last Friday. If you were there you could have seen it in person. Actually, it’s so comfortable, there first time I wore it to the 1500 months ago, I kept checking with my hand to make sure it was still there! I was scared to death that the snaps could come undone and it would drop to the floor w/o me noticing.
