I was wondering if guys with big hands feel the SOD handle is small in their hands. I do not have big hands but the handle feels like it is borderline small in my hand. Do any of you wish for a bigger handle on the SY knives, and is this a consistant size for SY knives?

By the way....I love this knife, I just can't keep my hands off it!

First off I have big hands too and you know what they say about big hands, right? it is a little harder to find gloves that fit well.

Assumeing they used the same mold for the new SODs as they did for my Scrapper6 and DogFather are the same size handel, and yes it is a little small, I have seen many Dogs give there handels a para-cord wrap, gutted or regular you make make the call.

I put a pic of mine with paracord in the handle-wrap post. I positioned it so the thumb has a sort of "rest" and the cord gives it a nice width that truly feels good in the hand. I used nine feet of cord.

It does feel a bit small but I have giant paws <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />. Seems like I got used to it on my DF and S6. I will try some wraps and let you know but I sure love the SODs for sure !

I have large hands but, the SOD feels very nice to me. Comfortable.

Just over 6" here and the SoD handle feels nice. Another 10% mass in the handle and it would feel perfect.

Well I have pretty large hands, and the large SY handles fit fine. They could be a little fatter, but then they might not fit folks with small hands.

I think the SOD hand is huge. Wouldn't mind it just a tad thinner, however, comfy enough. Then again I have this mindset that I've sort of learned over the years. A handle that feels super comfy holding it, like when you grab a knife off a customer makers table and admire it, isn't necessarily comfy at all when using it in the field.

My user feeling tends towards smaller handles, even though the bigger handles feel nicer when I pick them up and just hold them.
