Ok Nick, I'm not a hunter, so clue me in as to why the DMDC would be a good deer knife. Thanks.

Sweet lookin pair buddy but I have to be honest and say I prefer my new puppy... Oh sure, it's cute, but does it have black, crinkle coat for rust resistance???

Ok Nick, I'm not a hunter, so clue me in as to why the DMDC would be a good deer knife. Thanks. Well, it's just my opinion, really. Any knife will work for gutting deer, but I'm a big fan of a sturdy knife with a drop-point blade. You really don't need a terribly long blade, but I like one that's in the 4" to 5" range. If Dan brings out the SS4 again, I'll buy one of those for hunting, too. Of course, I'll probably buy the next offering regardless!
