Me... I will pass on the HC cause of the slabs but rather spend the money on the Dog Muk!

Muk will be a instant classic gimme from Dan.<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

NEVER offered again, and knowing how often we really do see a knife from The Yard I will not even think of passing on this offering! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Save the Swamp money and Yard it!!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Peace.

Maybe this means that at long last, Eric is ready to announce a new model. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

I like my HCLE a lot. I only wish I could have gotten the 4" blade version.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I was not instantly impressed with the HCLE. However, the more I've use it the more I like it. It takes a good edge and is very comfy in the hand. The only downside is that it is a little handle heavy due to the G10 slabs but in a slicer this fine IMO.

I am passing on the HCLE and going to Yard a few Mucks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />!!I am with POP on this one. I REALLY like this offering- don't care about the # thingy- just the blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'm looking forward to a new Swamp Rat Model! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

It doesn't lak much (maybe 2 or 3 months) being a year since the HCLE was released... I like my HC, but I'm ready for something new from the Swamp!!!

the reason i'd go to the swamp is in hope that it is slightly different. the mudder grip required that nasty ricasso and a ton of up sweep in the blade. hopefully the rat would correct those flaws.

I've never seen any of the three Busse Companies put out anything that's remotely the same at the same time.

I have a feeling that when the Swamp does release something new it will be quite different from the SMLE. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hard decison but after thinking " long and hard " ( 30 minutes) I decided I'll buy BOTH - or all three <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. Tough decisions - but a man has to do what a man has to do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />. Besides that- my wife just spent a ton on some <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> ? and she feels guilty. Yes- mileage time <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
