Has anyone compared the SOD with the Yard Hook or Yard Guard? How well do each of them chop, make feather sticks, and whatever?

I sold both my Yard Guard and Yard Hook. The Camp Tramp would out chop them. The SOD chops like the CT, so I'd say it is the better chopper.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I have an SOD, and a Yard Hook, and I agree with Horn Dog. The SOD I believe is heavier, and feels like there is more mass in the frontal section of the blade. Therefore better chopper imo.

I don't havea YG or hook- but I do have an S6 and all SODs. The SODs are my best all arond knives so far from the yard. I think that they are a very hard knife to top.

FYI, Yard Hook & SOD in close proximity. I don't know how the Hook chops because it is my brother's and he's yet to use it.... ![[Linked Image from images44.fotki.com]](http://images44.fotki.com/v1407/photos/2/28682/7042651/050-vi.jpg)

i havnt seen my YH in months.its stashed under the spare tire in my trunk pulling emergency road side assistance & trunk monkey duty.
i think every vehicle should have a good sized, sharpened 1/4in thick hunk of SR77 somewhere in it.
