hey all am a bit excited so had to post this ... after seeing the perfomance of the S6, and giving it as a present to a friend who was shipping out to afghanistan, i had to get myself another SY knife so ..much scouring and hunting .. think i have snagged one on the after market.. and ... it's a DF .. it'll cost a fair bit more than the retail price, and i couldn't buy one direct from SY casue 'm not an established Busse customer, but it looks like its a done deal.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> .. will keep you dawgs updated .. keep fingers crossed for me cheers ug <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I missed the offering too. I had to pay extra for mine, but it was worth it. The Dog Father is the King Kong of chopper bowies. That convex edge doesn't hang up in the wood, but it still bites deep, like a big dog should. You're gonna love it.

I've never been to Afghanistan but I would assume, given the history of the area, that a 6" EDC knife wouldn't cause anyone to even raise an eyebrow.
