Well, first finished sheath - almost. Got some kydex about two weeks ago and burned few a feet just figuring out how to press it etc. Starting to look like 70% of the time can be spent just making a belt loop. Was trying to come up with a way one can swivel, attach to a regular belt, and attach to molle. Here's what I am trying out, however after messing with it the screws are coming out.. back to the drawing board...
Here's the finished product(SOD in the background with another belt clip idea disassembled):
and in another thread we were talking about attaching a small bag so I got this idea:
With the molle you can attach any other molle item to it AND attach it to something like a pack or leg panel. I was hoping it would be two columns wide but that might be a little tight. Would have to experiment a little more - I used a sodering iron for the screw holes, a rivet and press would work a lot better and cleaner. Tried to make the rows snug but probably could use a little more slack. Time to sleep on it, maybe something will come to me tomorrow, looks like I'm gonna have to go static on the clip or use webbing.
