Nice tribute piece but fairly impractical IMO. It's too thick to be a slicer and too short to be a chopper. the yard keeper CG is a great little piece of sr77 that you can carry with you anywhere. and is much stronger than a folder. I thought ya said that you never used yours ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I picked up four of them at Blade 2007. My girls each got one, and my neighbor's son who is going into the Marines in June got one. It's a tank. I actually prefer the YKCG, which I stripped and polished to look like the LE. They are tough little knives.

If someone could...
1.) Post pic of YK CG/LE with Howling Rat gen.2 (maybe also Howling Rat gen.1)
2.) What is actual size of choil and cutting edge length of in YK, Howler gen 2 , Howler gen 1
... i would really appreciate.

I just got the tan YK (thanks Recon!) and to my eye it's a little thicker than my gen 2 Howling Rat.
The balance point feels different too, a little more blade heavy...
I'm psyched with it, that Tan is sweet looking! Great size for carry!
