I always have a CQC-7 folder on me and would have it when out wandering, to that I would add my sod and my yard keeper. Those two are the only scrap yard I have but I would carry a scrapper 6(next on the list) if I had it over the sod just because it fits my hand better(had one) . I do have a gryphon m35 that I would not hesitate to carry because it is also a great knife(my opinion) and of course my leathermen super tool to round out my kit. Opinions offered are solely my own stupid thoughts.

I hate when I type and hold other thoughts and or conversations and this happens ......."Anyway as i am not use to convex edges it should be fun, but Bravo -1 has a great feel and it's got a nice feel to it" ---duh

i love the feel of the bravo, but was wondering if the SS4 would be a better choice only b/c of the mudder handles. wonder how slippery the bravo would be if it was wet

those blades are all capable. i'd go with whatever you paid the least for.
that's the military way. cheapest that can still do the job.

I have two combo’s as my choice for bush trips, One is the SFNO with the Active Duty ![[Linked Image from i7.photobucket.com]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/1402jw/Ian%205/Truckknives3.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i7.photobucket.com]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/1402jw/Ian%205/Truckknives2.jpg) The other is the Chopweiler and a Howler LM It would be very hard to pick a favorite out of the two of them, they are both great choices for bush work. ![[Linked Image from i7.photobucket.com]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/1402jw/Walk06-01-082.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i7.photobucket.com]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/1402jw/Walk06-01-086.jpg) Ian.

That Chopweiler HRLM combo is a beast Trumby!
For me, in a two fixed blades contest the decision is simple. It would be the SOD and Busse AD.
If I was really going to take off...and weight was somewhat of an issue. Hmm, the SOD as the largest, the AD, Kobalt multi-tool and a SAK.

the AD is a good thought for the smaller knife. I do have an AD that needs more love.

I think the AD and the NMSFNO is a great idea too!!!
Second choice... SOD and SS4...
Third... Chopweiler and Swamp Warden... or HCLE.

Just to add some confusion to the mix Here are a couple of older combo’s that are good for bush work. The Camp Tramp and gen 1 Howler. ![[Linked Image from i7.photobucket.com]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/1402jw/Rock.jpg) Also the Gen 1 Howler with an AS ![[Linked Image from i7.photobucket.com]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/1402jw/Ian4.jpg)

Trumby has some great combos I have seen over at the swamp. The Merkel? combo I saw once was pretty great.
