Well, what started as a quest a few days ago for a scrapper 6 has ended with the purchase of a factory direct Busse Skinny Ash1, olive w/black canvas scales. This will be my first busse knife, I'm pretty stoked about it, I also have a used S6 on the way as well (SWEET). I want to thank both Horn Dog and bld522 for all of their advice and patience with me and all my questions. This board has the greatest pool of knowledge and experience of any group I know of. Now is the hardest part, waiting. Pics will follow.

Awesome Score Congrats! You'll love the ASH Mine is a CG but it's the same color combo and I really like it. [img][image] http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r406/johnpzane/100_0339.jpg[/img][/image] here's mine so you get an idea.It's actually well used but you can't tell.

Cazio, you will really like the Skinny ASH1. It is such a quick handling knife.

Envy. Haven't had the time to cruise the "second place markets" lately. Been checking when I can but haven't seen quite what I want. Ordered a Bark River BBK 2 to kind of settle my "jonesin" -and now to comment on the post on that subject <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks guys. Meatcutter, what is the sheath you have there for your ash? I'll make some leather pants when I get it but I believe you can never have to many sheaths or holster or guns, beer, knives, beer, ammo, beer, food and did I mention beer?
