The M9 looks very very similar to Gil Hibbens Rambo III knife.

Anyway, if the LE is 250 I hope the CG is 190 or so. I'm thinking about holding out for that.

Add my name to the list waiting to see if a GC model is offered. I have a Dog Father so I don't really need an M9 but I like the lines of the M9 better than the Dog Father so I'll probably get an M9 CG if it is offered.

i hate preorders, especially for productions knives. there are no options, no customs...just make a ton of inventory and sell it.

I like the new plan myself - it gives everyone a chance to order a new knife. After all, not everyone is retired or works a 9-5 job. Bruce made some good points as well!

The Swamp Rats are made from modified 52-100 steel that they call SR101. This is a superb steel for edge holding. With the differential tempering, the new Mischief 9 LE will be a formidable blade. The new order system means that everybody has a chance at these. I have used both Swamp Rats and Bark Rivers in this steel, and it is a real performer. I can chop for days with my Chopweiler or Ratweiler and they will still shave. If any of you are looking for a true high performance chopper that also has great style and looks, at a very good price, don't miss out on these M9LEs.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
