I agree, most sizes have been covered. Unless it's a kukri or bolo, I say bring back the DF, S6, and SS4 (in 154CM this time). HUGE <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> The DF and S6 are HARD USE knives and made for impact. 154CM is NOT anywhere NEAR as good as SR77 in this regard. 154CM might be OK for neckers, etc, but in a knife the size of the s6, sod, or df - i posture 154cm is a terrible idea.

Clark what Vic and the others were refering to was a SS-4 in stainless NOT a Df SoD or S-6. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Have no fear noone is taking away the SR-77! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Just dreaming of a SS-4 in stainless. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Peace.

OK i misunderstood HD then. He meant ONLY the SS4 would be 154CM and not the knives he also listed in the sentence. He can give you guys some 154 and sr101 from time to time , but as long as the S6's and DF's and SODs are made of the tough stuff sr101's tough stuff, just hold an edge better. i don't think people realize how much easier it is to make a tough knife than a sharp, hard, stainless knife. I can make a 1.4" thick sharpened pry bar, but not an MPLE.
