Again, that is a great kit. I need to get all of my stuff in one central pile.

EMF,

as far as i know the SOB isnt a limited run.you may be thinking of the ALICE type pack they did.

the SOB is great and leaps and bounds above the maratec, countycomm bags.mine fell apart.i only wish the SOB had some interior pockets or organizers.the inside is all yellow though so you can find stuff in there instead of it being a black hole.

as far as the kifaru.it was the zulu i had trouble with and it has something to do with the built in,adjustable aluminum frame.i think it just needs some tweeking.unfortunately i didnt realize that until i was a few miles from the car.havnt taken a trip yet where i need that much pack but now that warmer weather is coming the time is ripe.

as far as my other kifarus no problems.i use the E&E pack absolutely every single day,no fail and take it to work and the X-RAY pack is superb.i only run into problems when i stuff 70 pounds of gear in the zulu.its almost expected.

i just checked the kifaru web-site and it looks like a whole lot has changed.gonna do some studdying on their "next generation" of gear.

VERY well laid out orgainized pictures. I extremely appreciate the time you took to put these to together. Looks like you're an advocate of the one is none two is one approach, thanks!

I suppose I am obligated to buy one now that I have read this thread. I have been using the fanny pack off the top of my kelty coyote pack daily for several years, but have been wanting to upgrade.

Who has these on the cheap....or is there such a thing.

Don't force me to pay retail !!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

oh wow.
I must have been mistaken then.

I just rdered a maxpedition jumbo though.
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

still might get a SOB sometime though.

My maratac bag is the more expensive one though.
really well built and has a ton of awesome features.

It's almost 1000 cu" though so it's way too much for casual carrying.

...and wow.
last time I was around I think you had just got your first kifaru.

+1. I have never been and likely never will be that organized, but I sure appreciate the thought and planning that went into it. Great job, Gideon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

great kit gideon. I miss my jumbo pak. I sold mine to Zero Nine when I got the collosus. I'm not a big fan of the collosus. it's not as big as it seems, especially when you count in the foldover top of the jumbo.
