I ordered a Black on Black CG late last night when it first went up. I would'a liked to have gotten an LE but I figure I could make my own LE eventually if I want. At $257 the CG sounded pretty dog gone good to me.

I think the LE version might make for a "heavy duty" RMD alternative...thicker stock than the RMD but less "handle" than the BATAC

Couldn't agree more!

I like the shape of the handle better too, finger grooves are never quite right.

If those were 6 1/2" blades I'd have ordered an LE... I think it's the best looking Busse knife since the Basic 7! Like Steelfan I also have my doubts about the wisdom of the CG grooves..

Some of the CG look pretty cool, I like the black/tan G10 handle with the desert camo blade.

So the INFI blade with the cuts in the blade surface would be less strong or tough than a full height grind in INFI or even SR77? im seriously thinking about getting one of these because i think they look like a tough little stabber that would go great as a carry blade. but if im sacraficing strength for these striations, then ___ it

Oh, BIG surprise, Bruce is NOT going to buy a Busse! He will wait on a black SY CG version.

I'd prefer a tanker gray in quarter-inch-thick SR77 with a smooth surface, full-height flat grind, and mudder grips myself.

that's a good request, sounds real nice.
