When I entered service, during night maneuvers, I've seen grown men (often the "Loud mouths" !) "pi...g" their pants just by the mere idea that they had to go from point A to B without getting caught ... alone in the dark with patrols searching ... and that was in a peacetime situation ! I must admit I do feel safer sleeping alone in a tent in the woods at any time, then sleeping on a park bench in any major city <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> ... There are a few things in this world that I NEVER joke about, and hunting is one of them. When I invite somebody hunting I am very sincere, and I fully intend to live up to my end of the deal should you decide to show up. Hell man, you just let me know where you live in Texas and I might even be able to arrange being able to get you here! Remember, there is no closed season on ferral hogs, so we can and do hunt them year round.

Everday is open season for hogs <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. My new job, well new company, same job, starts next week and after that gets rolling my schedule is almost totally flexible, so whenever is best for you. I'm going to take you up on it! Just a matter of when!

I am Texan born and raised. I have shacked up in other countries for long periods of time as well a couple of major US cities. You will be hard pressed to find a friendler people and place.

The longest I have ever been out of Texas strait was 35 days or so but I couldn't agree more.
