We had to have it sent to my wife's work and being that we had off yesterday I had to wait until today. She called and told me, however I have to wait until later to play with it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> I have it now, here are the pic's with my Nessie kit: The kit contains 3 bandages, strike anywhere matches, swedish firesteel (not shown), jute twine, cotton for fire, bison tube with asprin, small knife and file, can opener and twine. This is not a survival kit, just a woods wandering kit with what I may need out in the woods. All in the Altoids tin.... The plastic case that holds the tine has even more stuff and can be worn around the neck. Congrats on your MUK. I love that number you got BTW! #13 is my lucky number and I love having things with unusual numbers. BTW, how is the weather up there?

It is cold and I am getting sick of it! However it is supposed to be warming up within the next few days.

Hopefully spring will be here soon and we can all get out and enjoy some sun and warm weather. We lived in the Portland Oregon area for about 10 years. One of the most insightful things one of the 'natives' told us is that if you're waiting for a nice day you won't be getting out much.
