Sorry to hear about your loss. +1 on following up with eBay and PayPal as you may be insured.

Sorry to hear about that. If you did you paypal you can file a dispute and eventually get your money back. I actually did this once so it can be done. Good luck.

You could always pre-order an M9 LE from the Swamp!

Seriously, sorry to hear that you got ripped off and learned a lesson the hard way. I hope eBay will do you some good.

I am sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hopefully, you won't be out the money. I have been lucky so far on ebay. There are some fine and reputable vendors there. And some low down skunks, too.

I’ve been using eBay (as a buyer/seller) for over 10 years, and PayPal for 9 years. My feedback is 1869. I’ve only been ripped off once by a seller, and that was before they had better fraud protection. I bought a 1911 Galco lefty shoulder holster for $70 and never got it. Now they have better fraud protection. Now they make you pay with paypal, and if you don’t get the item, you file a refund request, and unless the seller can provide PP with proof of mailing from the PO they will refund your money. It can take 2 weeks or so, but you should be able to recover your money.

Sounds good.

I think this was just me getting complacent. I buy so much online and frequently on ebay- forgot some basics on buying!

I'll tell ya though- everybody has new toys except me! Vic has that new Busse, folks have new mucks and sods...sigh...like being the last kid picked to play ball...not that that ever happened to me!

Hah!!!

I was looking forward to that knife though!

eBay cancelled one of my auctions because I said I would take MOs. I thought that was sorry. As if their fees were not alone they have to take a cut from how I get paid too, geez they have been taking lessons from the IRS/(Whatever agency or party you choose to insert).

man that sucks... i just started using ebay again after about 5 years. i've never gotten had online but i have been hustled a couple of times in my life. all i can say is never ever get anywhere involved with that game where the guy has the 3 cups and a ball. they use some kinda evil magic...

definitely see if you can get ebay or paypal to cover you.
