Nice pics.
Is that a mykulmorris fixed blade?

sure is! its one of his famous File neckers, SAR edition with blaze orange kydex pants and cordwrap. I highly recommend these! they take a wicked edge, easy to sharpen. Ya gotta oil them though! (1095 carbon).

Nice colors, what kind of camera were you using?

FujiFilm Finepix S2000HD 10mp, chrome film, final edit in KDE SHOWFOTO (linux)

another highly recommended piece of gear, and very affordable.

went for a day hike today, loaded up the pack with knives and food and off i went into the forest.

this is my Becker BK11, cordwrapped, with a neck lanyard. If you look closely, you can see how the neck lanyard knot fits into the bottle opener, to prevent the knife from coming out. Kinda like a safety.

a tripod too! use the timer setting for every shot, and brace yer tripod well.

use KDE SHOWFOTO (linux based) and you can tweak and fix the images!

Ah yes, I forgot about the timer/tripod setup. I have to try that KDE SHOWFOTO, adobe cs4 gets too complicated.
