After reading these posts, I may not be inducted, but I'd still like to have some fun there at Blade. My future knife buying will likely be much less than in recent years. I mean, just how many knives do I need? And I have admitted to buying other brands on occasion as well. But if anyone ever asks me about INFI my answer is that is the best knife steel I know of. For many knives, other fine steels will do well enough for me. Since I have well over $2000 worth of INFI, that should count for something, right? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Did you get my PM? Yes, and I sent another email to Amy concerning the induction and a hog name. It's not a real big deal, but as a Busse lover, I should be a hog. I think that anyone fanatical enough about knives to buy even a couple Busses has aleady proven he is not a normal person! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> agreed! i have four, does that make me extra "not normal"? lol

Last year I had to sit through a mindless high school graduation ritual during the Blade Show. It was as dumb and pointless as my own was a hundred years ago. Why can't they just mail out those diplomas? I'd rather listen to three hours of Neal Diamond on am radio than sit through another Edjukay-tore speech. I have warned all my relatives and both of my friends that I will be going to Blade this year.

I'm planning on being there. Checked the hotel that it's being held and about a two weeks ago and they didn't have any rooms... There were more than a few hotels in walking distance.
Didn't plan on induction, I don't post there, not so much here, so... I'll keep my eye out for "hawgs and dawgs" and see what happens.

I thought that the Renaissance Waverly Hotel at the Galleria would be booked solid, but I had no problem getting a room reserved today. Maybe there were some cancellations. Ask for the special Blade Show rates.
