Welcome to the Yard, Mustard Man. This is a fine forum full of generous, kind folks who happen to love knives. I hope to see you at Blade. I realize that Atlanta is a long way for many to travel to, but the Blade Show is BIG.I have only attended one in 2007, and I just loved it. A whole convention center full of knife lovers.

would be a good way to spend a few vacation days. can't afford it though....

Of course, there's also tax at the show; recently, when buying NMSFNOs from the BusseCompanyStore and feeling a bit of resentment over the shipping, I stopped for a second and calculated sales tax, which I was not being charged online, but would have been 7% at Knob Creek. While I was paying $20 shipping for 2 knives, sales tax would have been $327.00/knife * 2 knives * .07 = $45.78 -- shipping didn't seem like such a bad deal in that context.
