I wanted to let everyone know that there will indeed be Scrap Yard Knives at Knob Creek this year! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> The show starts Friday, April 3rd at 9:00 am. Get there early, Scrap Yard Knives always seem to go quickly! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Wish I lived closer. You all have fun!
BTW, any news on the new knife before Knob Creek?

Renee, how about some preview shots of the selection that will be there?
Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government Agency.

Renee, how about some preview shots of the selection that will be there? I think I can confidently say the S5 will be there. Somebody take pictures, because we need it!

I did my part last Fall -- of the 26 Bussekin knives I bought there, 24 were Scrap Yards. Some of them appeared to be one-offs and they only had 2 or 3 of others; I grabbed them quickly and had the crew checking for any more under the tables). I don't plan to spend as extravagantly this year (I dropped about $250 just in sales tax), but I'll have to see what catches my eye.
I finally bought a camera -- it's entry level (a Canon PowerShot A590IS), but the price was low (about $110) and online reviews were pretty good. I'll have to take it out of the box and read the manual. Perhaps I'll be up to speed by 4/3; if so, please understand that I'll checkout before I take time to snap any pictures.

Right. I'm not nearly as confident as MRpink that the S5 will show up at Knob Creek. There may just be some more one-offs or scraps left over from previous releases.
 Time will tell . . .
That's what I'm thinkin too Bruce. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It would be nice to see a pic of the S5 before then though, even if they don't list it for sale. I am getting anxious, but then again Dan seems to like this part of the game

I am getting anxious, but then again Dan seems to like this part of the game Or maybe he has to wait until the Busse Combat HG55s are done before he can make some production models. Who knows? I'll probably pass on the S5 due to recent expenses and the fact that I am getting the HG55LE. Maybe if some are left over at Blade I may get one there, if it strikes my fancy. I hope they don't wait until Knob Creek to show it, but that may be the case.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
