bushman i have been wanting to get a spoon knife foe awhile now but dont know what u use to keep it from cuting anything while its in your pack, what do you do

I keep it in the truck....i tend to make crude spoons and bowls while kicking back on the tailgate with cold beers and food

I'm going to look into purchasing one of those kettles...

^ if i may suggest it, figure out if your going to be backpacking or mostly trucking with the kettle......the small one packs easily but only give you 2 cups at most of water....whereas the big one is better suited for two or three people , but its much bigger to try and pack.

I like the fire coal carrier. Those spoon knives seem like a good toy to pass the time with.
