Well It's a beautiful blade and it deserves all of the attention that it has created....

+1

INFI may or may not be an option based on Dan's explanation. Regardless, the blade is gorgeous and I am still sure this will be a HUGE seller!

And I am VERY excited to hear about SR-101!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I can see a where DF might be better in S7, but a Scrapper 5 should be fine in 154CM. Besides, I don't normally put my blades in a vice and bend them with a cheater bar. I have put the MPLE and SMLE through as rough a test as I would with any knives that size, and they have come through just fine. As wet as it is in BC, I would have thought that a stainless scrapper 5 would have appeal to pitman, but I guess not. Am I the only one here who still sees 154CM as a premium knife steel?
Vic we're strange in BC many of us love the sight of patina on a well used carbon blade.
Pit may not have been born here, but we seem to be slowly assimilating him

mudder and the thumb ramp!!! gonna be nice!!!!
And don't forget that oversized choil. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Ha Ha

You can not see exactly where the choil ends...intereting...almost spookey. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I think...this knife would be truely exceptional if it had no choil at all. It has a lot going for it...but to just have a nice wide blade flare out from the handle would be fantastic. IMHO

Myself I am not a fan of choils.
I like the looks of this knife however if there is one thing that could possibly turn me off of it, it would be the choil

Is it possible that the Combat Grade in sr101 would cost the same or more then the Le in 154cm? I hope infi, but was wondering how if the sr101 is more costly then 154cm?

The hand finishing and polishing is what usually makes the LEs cost more. I am still thinking the LE will be more expensive, even if it is 154CM rather than INFI, which I am still hoping for. It could happen.

You know fellas, this could be interesting. Maybe, just maybe the LE will be special because it won't be 154cm....hummm. Who would think that the first time SR101 would appear at the yard....it would be second fiddle to.......154cm???? That does not add up....I think maybe we are in store for better things...just thinking out loud.
