Well I am still waiting for the SAR4 to arrive but was interested in the comments made by some SAR members over on the Busse B/F....they seem to prefer a FSH / NMSFNO size blade which can handle a bit of chopping and still be good at other tasks...which is interesting to me as from a military perspective I feel the same....you want an all rounder but towards the "lighter" end of the "chopper" models...and definately agree that the NMSFNO is a great knife which is generously priced...as was the SFNO LE.If the SAR4 impresses me like the SFNO LE has done then I will be happy...I am a bit concerned however that I might have gone for a 5 inch knife which is a bit too beefy to be my INFI RMD option which I have been searching for....so lets hope the S5 LE is definately going to be available in INFI!!

I think the Sarsquatch would be a good SAR knife.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I think the Sarsquatch would make a great SAR knife too. I'm expecting my SAR4 today or tomorrow...
I'm really curious how it compares to the RMD. The more I think about the price of the SAR4, it's a comparable knife to the HG55 size wise, so the LE price is right in line with the LE HG55, so it's not bad for an LE. I just wish there had been a cheaper CG option too.

If you want a SAR-4, better jump on it soon, Skunk posted over on BF that they are almost sold out.
I still think I'll pass on this one.

Me, too. It was tempting, but knowing that Dan has the Scrapper 5 coming eases the pain.

I just want them to sell out of the SAR4 and the NMSFNO (and maybe the skinny ASH) already, so I don't down a few Rochefort 10's one night and wake up the next morning with a headache, a dry mouth, and an extra thousand bucks on my credit cards | | |

As trick as I think they are I can't justify 75 bucks more than a NMSFNO.
