As trick as I think they are I can't justify 75 bucks more than a NMSFNO. I can't argue with that the NMSFNO is a great knife and a great value for a CG. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> +1. The NMSFNO is a great value for a big Busse, IMO. I don't regret getting mine at all.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I think the Sarsquatch would be a good SAR knife. Dunner, one of the SAR guys, posted this about the Sarsquatch. I have a SARSquatch and it is an astonishingly effective tool for what we do and is light for the capabilities it brings. It's another stroke of genius from Jerry.

Well I got my SAR4 yesterday and I'm very impressed with it. I kinda expected something smaller, but I was pleasantly surprised with the size and feel of this knife... WOW!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> Nice handle for big paws! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> It compares nicely to the RMD. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> It's actually slightly bigger than the SAR5...

I'm glad to see that there will be more. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I still hope they make a cheaper CG version too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

A little O/T, but I've wanted to know for some time...
Is it pronounced Bus-ee or Bee-you-see like the actor?
Not a big deal, just wondering.

I've been told Busse is pronounced to rhyme with "fussy".

Great comparison pic's Jeff! Put side by side I think I like the RMD's lines better but will hopefully know one way or the other soon. Now I hear they are doing Satin with green linen handles which really is a combination I would have preferred...it will probably be cheaper than the LE's and more able to be Double Cut as an after market job without ruining an LE...so I wish they had told us what they planned at the start.
All this smoke and mirrors on what variations are intended is a bit of a bugger when you end up buying a more expensive version that would be your second choice to the one coming after....
The more I think about it the more this style of marketing does'nt appeal to me....I like straight up information when it comes to basing what I am going to spend money on...usually people involved in guns and knives are all of a straight talking type...maybe Busse should factor that in when thinking about release information.

Jeff, that SAR4 looks like a real knife. I'm still holding out for a Scrapper 5 or two, but that SAR4 is impressive next to the SAR5 and Ratmandu.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
