my battle rat and chopweiler are supposed to be 1/4 inch thick but both are under 1/4 inch. the ranger and bill seigle knives I have are thicker so I measured them and sure enough my rats are under 1/4. anyone else notice this?

my old battle rat looked to be 1/4 but i never had calipers to get a good measure.
is it a tan/black BR?
