I have a Camelbak Mother Lode and love it since it has a 100 oz bladder. Thing is that it can be over packed and gets heavy quick.

Mine is in ACU too. Bad thing about ACU, especially in OK is that it does not break up well in the outdoors due to the colors. I have found that the Marine MARPAT is better suited as well as the old tricolor for my area; BUT, the ACU works well in an area that has concrete.

FOr me, it doesnt really matter. Its Army-reg so thats what i HAVE to be in compliance with.. For better or worse. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Wait till I get my platoon hooked on SR77! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Load up that puppy and post some pics!

Being the frugal gent that I am, I just got the condor small daypack with hydration from desert deuce surplus.

Will check the mail this morning to see if it's here....

I know this much, your men are lucky to have a LT that cares for them. That is a make/break deal! LT SR77 doesn't sound bad at all!
