Whats up guys..I have a Swamp Rat Howling Rat Ridgeback Variant coming my way. I was wondering if anyone owned one and had some pics and there thoughts on it?

I've seen them on the blade forums exchange.. They look like cool knives.. Almost bought one at one point, but passed on it for the YKLE...

I like them, they look great, but the top edge dosen't let you baton vey well, I assume. also you can chopw up on the handel with your thumb along the spine of the blade, which is what I always do with my Gen 2 Howling Rat.

Cool looking knife but I am not a serreated type of guy. The top serriations definately don't so it for me.

Same here - I don't get the purpose of those things at all. They don't even seem like USEFUL serrations, like on a spyderco type knife. Are they purely cosmetic, or do they serve some purpose that I'm missing? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Besides loving the looks, it was the first Swamp Rat (or Bussekin) I ever saw after researching good knives. Saw a you tube video of a guy throwing it.

I want one some day and love my HR-great knife!
