Nice hardware! Especially the FALs.

Andy,
That Ishy of yours looks like it's in great shape, very nice find. I have one too, but it isn't near as purdy. Shoots well, but about a foot high at 100 yards. I've read that is normal, since the sights are the same as the ones on the .303 version.

Here's a pic I've posted before, most of it is still in inventory:

Another fine Swiss rifle, if you're into surplus I highly recommend these:

Nice!

Especially like the K31. I've got a few of those myself. Great shooters.

I started my "collecting" back in 2000 by getting my C&R license. I suppose it was the end of the "Golden Age of Milsurps" as quality stuff being imported has pretty much ground to a halt, but there were still some deals in the early 2000's.

For example, here's a single day's haul at a local gunshow back in 2003-

I was kinda fond of Garands too...3 from the CMP.

you've some great looking guns. Are you having problems finding ammo for them. Here in Kansas, supplies are quickly drying up for common calibers like 38. 45, 9mm.

Yes and no.

I moved to my new house back in 2004. When moving from my apartment, one of my friends brought his work van over to help me move my ammo. We stacked all the ammo in his van and nearly bottomed out the suspension

Anyway, back in the early 2000's I bought tons of ammo (literally), wholesale. 10-15K of 7.62 NATO, 5-8K of .30-06 M2 ball, 5K 8mm, etc, etc, etc.

So I've been working off my "stash" for several years.

That said, I'm low on 5.56, and yes, it's hard to find and expensive. 9mm is more expensive these days and getting scarce.

There is an ammo shortage for some reason.

Need a scope and stock for the 700 sps thats on the way.

Need more winchester brass to reload.

Wish I had 1000 rounds of lapua 308 brass !!!

And who can find large rifle primers, my friend ?

Photos are great! Great collection(s), Gents.
