I love this thing. It was my introduction to Busse-kin blades. I walked around the yard looking for downed trees due to the storms that passed through today. I found a couple, but none near the house. Here's one that needs to come down. It's hard, dead maple - it deserves a chainsaw. My arm would wear out before it came down: Here's one that broke about 6ft up and then became a widowmaker with its top help up by another. Once again too big (for me) to chop. I'll wait for this one to fall - no need to mess with this one: (shop in the background) Here's a downed tree that's blocking a path that deer use. Now this I can handle. I could have used a saw, but this is much more fun. ![[Linked Image from i247.photobucket.com]](http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg154/lisalaz00/IMG_2137.jpg) Here's a view up the trail away from the snag: A young buckeye (I think): A few scene shots: No damage here from the storms. We were very lucky.

I've never used them before but I have handled a few and they feel great in the hand. The chopweiler is good looking and I'm sure a great user!
Great pictures too, I said this before, but that looks like a fun place to hang out and do bush stuff. Thankfully it wasn't damaged from the storms.

Pretty country up there in TN, snotpig. The Chopweiler is a fun knife. That unusual shaped handle really works for chopping, doesn't it?
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Glad you and rainwalker came out of the day safe. Just read a mother and her 9 week old died...
CT is a bit boring, but safe...a blizzard is as bad as it gets usually...

Yeah the CW is very comfortable. And the rear hump really keeps it in hand while chopping. The area should give plenty of room for my daughter's imagination to run wild. With all the wild laurel and wild blueberries and wild azaleas it is my calm little section of the world.

CT is a bit boring, but safe...a blizzard is as bad as it gets usually... Yes, that is tragic. I hate to hear stories like that. It's really amazing, though, that only a few people got hurt at all. Murfreesboro is pretty populous (at least relatively in TN) with a great number of subdivisions. If it had happened at night as opposed to day (when most are at work) it could have been (God forbid) a much different story.

One of my favorite outdoor workouts is finding standing rotten dead trees. Then I push 'em, and rock them back and forth until I break them and they fall. Just like a bear lookin' for grubs. It really tires you out if you get a big stubborn one.
