Duracoat is the DIY variety and works very well. There are some coatings out there that are super tough, alot tougher than bluing, even good bluing.

A Duracoated stainless gun would be ultra rust-resistant. That might be nice for when you are sweating on in when you starting packing it here in Texas.

No, thought about picking one up but then the recall, bad feeling trigger and the idea of pricy mags kept me from doing it. They do feel nice in the hand though.

I have to say I am really excited that Sig classic series has a conversion kit. A 220SA with a 22lr conversion would be an awesome setup.
