So my wife was out of town and it was very warm the other night so I decided I was going to sit on my front porch and enjoy a cigar, beer and a good book. The Dog Father came too.

It was an Ashton. I really like the Ashton Cabinet series but this one was still pretty good.

Ashton makes some nice cigars. I had a box of little Ashtons once... cigarillo sized. They were nice when I wanted a good, quick smoke!

Yeah, I also like the Maccanudo.

I'm generally a Partagas and Arturo Fuente smoker.

I got my hands on some Cohibas, Romeo y Julietta, and Punch cigars (cubans) when I was stationed in Korea. I miss that now!

I spent today moving and unpacking boxes. A beer would hit the spot right now.

I wish I could get my hands on some Cubans now-a-days! Been a long while. But, as far as the quality of the smoke goes, you can't go wrong with any of the above mentioned brands that are readily available in your cigar shop! A good $14 Partagus or Fuente is what I go for when its time for a nice cigar. I'm also a big fan of anything maduro (dark leaf).
